COVID-19 Testing at ChapCare
…..At this time, ChapCare is prioritizing COVID-19 testing for its patients. ChapCare is currently offering COVID-19 testing at its Fair Oaks Health Center in Pasadena. Testing is by appointment only. If you feel that you have concerning symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please contact ChapCare today at 626-398-6300 to schedule a telephone appointment with a provider to begin the process.
…..Community members can access COVID-19 testing through OptumServe, a leading health services innovation company under contract with the State of California. Optum is currently offering COVID-19 testing at two ChapCare locations (our Vacco Health Center in South El Monte and our Kathryn Barger Health Center in Pasadena). Appointments, testing, and results are overseen by OptumServe. You can schedule an appointment by visiting https://lhi.care/covidtesting. For those without internet, appointments can be made by calling (888) 634-1123.
Flu Shots Now Available
…..Families will have to deal with the Coronavirus Pandemic and the Flu Season in 2021. A combination of both viruses, or one after the other, may mean bad news for your health, respiratory health, and overall ability to recover. Protect your family and schedule everyone’s flu shot appointment today at ChapCare. Appointments are available during normal business hours and on Saturdays at our Lincoln Health Center in Pasadena. ChapCare Is Now Offering Telephone Visits
You can speak to your provider from the comfort of your own home.
Appointments for adult medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health and substance use counseling, health insurance enrollment, and advice with how to effectively use your medications are available by phone.
* Dental services are currently only available at our Fair Oaks and Peck health centers.
Our pharmacy is able to deliver your medications directly to your doorstep; no need to wait in line at a community pharmacy!
Vision Services Now Available at ChapCare
Now offering vision services at our Lincoln Health Center in Pasadena! Current optometry services include:
– Comprehensive Eye Exams.
– Treatment and management of ocular diseases such as Glaucoma and Macular degeneration.
– Collaboration with your primary care provider to manage ocular issues related to medical conditions or side effects of medications.

Keeping our Sites Clean and Safe
We follow the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to keep our health centers clean and safe.
- All ChapCare staff are screened daily for COVID-19
- We are regularly disinfecting all surfaces and cleaning our waiting rooms
- We are utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment
- All visitors must wear a mask while inside of ChapCare facilities in compliance with Governor Newsom’s statewide mandate
